As you know, Tea – talk is not only a good chance for everyone to improve English speaking and listening skills but also a good environment for making friends and learning new things. Besides our current practices of having Student Tea – talk on every Tue and Fri night (for those born in 1990 and later), asking the particpants‘help to show their Student / ID cards, we have some new changes which we would like to upate:
+ Tea – talk voucher drink: you now do not have to order drink and wait at cashier, but instead, you will buy a voucher drink with VND 20,000 including juice, ice-tea and mineral water. You will have self-service time and drink as much as possible.
+ Small quiz in the midst of Tea – talk: we do our best to support students learning English, therefore, we added a quiz to each Tea – talk night. The little game is about difficult English grammar or other problems which some students struggle with. The quiz is used to draw attention to these challenges, so when needed the students can correct themselves
P/S: To save your money and time, please remember Tea – talk begins at 7pm to 9pm (If you come to Sozo before 7pm, you will be a normal customers at Sozo’s coffee shop and you have to order drink / food in the menu. And then, at 7pm, you have to spend VND 20,000 to buy a voucher drink to join tea – talk)
To have a clean and friendly environment ^^
we ask for your kind cooperation as following:
On 13th September, we had a workshop about Interview skills. Christine, an experienced worker and coach for interviews taught about the most important things to do and not to do. Starting with an appropriate dress code, to the way of walking in the room and how to shake someone's hand correctly, as well as how to come up with good answers for typical interview questions and what better not to say.
The students also had chances to practice these new learned skills and learned from their mistakes. The next interview can come, we are prepared!
There was a lot of excitement in the air as the Family Day at SSIS took place.
Students and parents had the chance to join different activities around the campus. And in the middle of it all, there was us, a small Sozo team who sold handmade jewelries and helped children to make their own. It was a pleasure to see the happy smiles of the children wearing their self-made bracelets and necklaces. A truly successful morning!
Last month, we had a chance to discover our strength and weakness through “Game Night” at Sozo.
Whoever joined “Game Night” had committed “I never give up”.
We played a lot of games within 2 hours. We also learned about responsibility, decisiveness, boldness… through the games.
Besides that, we improved many skills: team-work, leadership, communication…
It was a time full of fun, craziness, love and friendship...
